How the Skip Ivery Agency is giving back in the 2019 school year

Community: The Skip Ivery Agency is so grateful to be able to give back to the area we live, work and play in.
And one of the ways we love to give back is to sponsor a back to school event. The Skip Ivery Agency loves to support local school children in their educational endeavors and this year, during our second annual back to school event, we helped families at Moler Elementary School.
So, what did the Skip Ivery Agency do this year? As we like to say, we do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. We also are very appreciative of our partners and volunteers, who helped make this event in 2019 a success.
This year, we:

• Donated and handed out 550 backpacks
• Distributed 550 BBQ meals
• Handed out 3,500 school supplies
• Handed out 5,800 hygiene and wellness items
• Passed out 500 ice cream treats
• Donated and passed out 150 purses
• Passed out 500 bottles of water

We couldn’t have done it without our team of 80 amazing volunteers.
This work will help provide a brighter future to our community’s underprivileged children and families.

And we believe that education – supporting school children and families – is one of the best ways to give back. Why? Because education is one of the most important factors in determining one’s future health, happiness and success. So, we are committed to helping local school children succeed in the classroom so they can stay in school, graduate and go on to successful and happy lives.
We are regional ambassadors for Agents of Change in Central Ohio and we do ongoing work to help: Providing school supplies is just one way. We also help with mentorships.
